There's only so many floors one can mop in a day so here I am updating this thing again.
Granted, I've been spending a lot more time on my photoblog of late and those who want to see that one can ask me for the url.
Since last I posted, I've been married and honeymooned and de-jobbed and re-jobbed and bi-jobbed and mono-jobbed an un-jobbed and re-re-jobbed and by jove, I'm confused.
It's one thing to plan a major upheaval in life but another entirely to get to it and realise that the other shit that happens will still happen regardless of your desire for it not to. So here I sit in my 'proper' job for the first time in weeks, but its a Saturday and there's only so much you can do. I AM glad to be back though - having spent so long getting acclimatised to the building and everything it means, I was gitted to have to mpove onto another service, despite it being a really karmically positive thing to do where I get to find my way around the East Riding and meet lots of interesting people and drink too many cups of coffee.
So, wedding.... Perfect. So many people, so much positivity, a highlight for me being the conversation I had with a storm on the saturday night. It was a little one-sided as I sat in a ball on the floor by myself and was told a thing or two, but such heavenly advice is hard to ignore ;)
Camping was spectacular, ceremony as energised, the ending of the eveng a fairly heart-rending process to go through but the hangover helped dull the pain. Irony has never been more welcome.
Honeymooning brought me, in no particular order:
1: Blue poo
2: Lots of Mars time
3: The chance to catch up on some nintendo gamesI'd been overlooking
4: Another wedding
5: An old friend from uni, unseen for 7 years. Not only that, she still has 'teh ginger loveliness' and her bloke is FOREST :D
6: More steak than is reasonable
7: A bunch of new friends
8: Jellyfish
9: An acceptable greek bathroom
10: Knowing my limits
Then we got back and our resident lensman was about to go, so we have a whole house to ourselves and I am in the process of reating my new studio, in which I can write, fiddle with photos, do my music and the rest, but will in fact just use for playing Football Manager and Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Repiulic ;)
Since then there's been the small matter of an Army weekend in Brumingham. Davey bit me on the groin and I had Brown Ale. Not a bad weekend all in all.
